Helen Emmerson is a dynamic, results-driven Human Resources leader with a strong passion for delivering impactful change. She has extensive experience in leading people and workforce strategies, consistently turning organisational goals into tangible outcomes.
Currently, Helen is the General Manager of Human Resources at Unisson Disability, where she oversees a broad range of workforce matters. In this role, she provides strategic advice to the executive team and leads initiatives that strengthen organisational engagement and enhance the overall employee experience.
Helen is widely recognised as a thoughtful and inspiring leader who is deeply committed to empowering others. She leads with empathy and a genuine desire to uplift those around her, making a positive difference in the lives of the people she works with.
Previously, Helen was the Director of People and Culture at NSW Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network. There, she worked closely with the Chief Executive and executive team on HR matters, culture transformation, and strategic alignment. She also led significant workforce initiatives in employee engagement, education, and Aboriginal workforce development, while managing key HR functions critical to the organisation’s success.
