Natasha Fyles has been the CEO of Somerville Community Services since early 2025.She has a long association with Somerville having attended a Somerville childcare centre in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
Natasha is a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, with a deep commitment to ensuring that people living with disability can access high-quality, person-centred care—regardless of location, cultural background, or circumstance.
A long-serving Northern Territory parliamentarian (2012 – 2024) and former Chief Minister (2022–2024), Natasha brings extensive experience in government, disability policy, and social services to her role on the Alliance 20 Board. As the NT Minister for Disabilities, she led the Territory’s transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), working closely with participants, providers, carers and Aboriginal-controlled organisations to shape a system that met the unique needs of Territorians.
During her time in government, Natasha championed investment in disability infrastructure and service access, particularly in remote and regional communities.
Now serving as CEO of Somerville Community Services and Somerville Housing Natasha continues her advocacy for inclusive, responsive and person-led support systems. As a member of the Alliance 20, she is committed to ensuring the voices of people with disability—especially those in regional areas and remote communities—remain central to shaping the future of the NDIS.
Holding a degree from the University of Canberra, Natasha is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course. Additionally, she is Chair of Cancer Council NT, a member of the Cancer Council Australia Board and the Duke of Edinburgh Board NT. Natasha lives in Darwin with her partner and two teenage sons along with their dog Rumble. She loves to spend time running on the Nightcliff foreshore or out on the Darwin harbour fishing.
